Nintendo announces Mario Kart Tour release date for Android and iOS, showing gameplay for the first time

Nintendo announced the mobile Mario Kart Tour back in February 2018, promising to release the game before March 2019.

The company strayed from the designated route, but finally showed the gameplay of the game, and also announced the release date.

What is known

On the official Nintendo Mobile YouTube channelThere was a video demonstrating the Mario Kart Tour gameplay. Unlike other mobile races, karting with Mario is launched in portrait mode, and the game itself is adapted for one-handed control. It seems that in Nintendo this format is considered the most correct, because the latest mobile projects of the company came out only in this form.

Like the "big version" for 3DS, Mario KartTour for Android and iOS will be available characters of the Nintendo universe. They will drive on tracks based on locations from the real world, as well as fabulous places from the Big N games. Bonuses and traps for enemies will also remain.

The game will appear on Google Play and the App Store on September 25, where pre-registration is already available.
