Officially: OPPO will release Find X2 smartphone in 2020 with a new Sony sensor and Snapdragon 865 chip

OPPO announced the flagship Find X two years ago, and since then there has been no new smartphone in this line. It turned out,

Company representatives told reportersXDA-Developers publications that OPPO Find X2 is in development. The smartphone will definitely get the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 7-nanometer processor with the X55 5G modem, which will work in mmWave and sub-6GHz networks.

The novelty will also be able to boast a new module.cameras. It is being developed jointly with Sony and will have an enlarged sensor size for better photosensitivity, as well as All Pixel omni-directional PDAF technology. It improves focus due to the structure of the microlens.

The smartphone still has to wait for an updated display. Most likely, this is an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

When to expect

According to the company, the new flagship of the Find X line is announced in the first quarter of 2020.
