OnePlus developers have rolled out a new test firmware for last year's two series of smartphones.
What is known
We are talking about OnePlus 7/7 Pro and OnePlus 7T/7T Pro. In the first case, the system was released with the number OxygenOS Open Beta 17, and in the second - OxygenOS Open Beta 7. The firmware weighs 202 MB and 141 MB, respectively.
Among the innovations in the software, the August patch was addedsecurity and many fixes. For example, the developers have optimized the creation of long screenshots in some scenarios, fixed problems with the File Manager application, improved the stability of Wi-Fi signal transmission, and much more. Also in the smartphone settings there is a section called OnePlus Tips & Help.
When to expect
Participants in the OxygenOS beta testing program have already begun to receive the firmware over the air. If you don't have the OTA update yet, you can download it through the Oxygen Updater app.
