While OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users are waiting for open testing of Android 10, the company's developers have already released
What is known
The firmware was released with the name OxygenOS Open Beta2 and weighs 133 MB. No new features were added in the update, but the developers did a good job on system stability and optimization. For example, crashes when unlocking a smartphone with an under-screen fingerprint scanner have been fixed, and the performance of proprietary control gestures and the function of parallel applications have been improved. The full list of changes can be read in the screenshot below.
When to expect
All participants in the OxygenOS firmware beta testing program have already begun receiving software updates over the air.
Let us remind you that next week the manufacturer will hold an event in India, where it will show the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones, as well as its first smart TV.
