Digital Twin System with Bentley Systems

Bentley Systems developed the iTwin system using NVIDIA Omniverse to create digital twins for factories and facilities in the heavy and mining industries.

Bentley Systems expands Bentley's iTwin platformand integrated NVIDIA Omniverse to create a graphics pipeline for AI-enhanced real-time rendering and digital twin simulation of infrastructure.

BMW and the digital twin of the factory

The BMW Group is the first automaker to use NVIDIA Omniverse to create a complete digital twin of an entire factory.

Supercomputer Announcement

The company spoke about the upcoming supercomputer based on the new platform and promised to create a new class of desktops with ARM processors.

Swiss ALPS computer will be usedfor climate and weather research, physics and natural sciences. Other potential challenges include materials science, astrophysics, computational fluid dynamics, molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry, particle physics, economics and social sciences.

The creators promise that in comparison with the currentthe leader in AI - MLPerf - this mainframe will provide 7x the expansion of possibilities. ALPS will be operational by 2023 and will replace the Piz Daint supercomputer. The access to the facilities of the system will be opened for researchers from all over the world.
