PlayStation 5 Pro at the TCL presentation: release dates and hardware details

One of the most anticipated devices in the coming years, without a doubt, is the improved PlayStation 5 gaming console.

Pro, talk about which began even before launchregular PlayStation 5. TCL Technology was unexpectedly able to shed light on the device during an event in Poland. One of the presentation slides shows the console roadmap, starting with PS4 and Xbox One in 2013 and ending with PlayStation 5 Pro and the new Xbox Series S/X. The launch dates for the latter are 2023-2024, and the key innovation will be the transition to more powerful hardware (GPU RX7700XT), capable of rendering 4K images at a frequency of 60-120fps (versus 2K@60-120fps for the current generation), which can be increased to 8K by upscaling .

And although a year ago, Microsoft officially confirmedworking on a new generation of Xbox consoles, it is worth noting that the information from the TCL slide is more of a forecast and is not official. After all, as we remember, even after a year and a half, Sony and Microsoft are unable to meet the demand for consoles due to a shortage of chips.
