PlayStation Store is no longer the same: Sony has changed its refund policy

Suddenly and without warning, Sony changed the refund policy on the PlayStation Store.

What is known

Now

gamers will be able to return the money spentfor digital content, including for add-ons and services. You can request a refund within 14 days after purchasing the game or DLC, provided that you have not started installing, downloading or streaming the product. At the same time, if the game turns out to be problematic, as was the case with Anthem or Fallout 76, then the money will be returned even after downloading or installing.

Money for pre-orders is refunded at any time, but only before the release day. If you buy the game three days before release, then the standard return limit applies - 14 days.

Gamers can also return moneyfor PlayStation Now, PlayStation Plus and other Sony services within 14 days of purchase. But the amount of funds returned will depend on the period of validity of the service. For example, if you paid for PlayStation Plus for a year in advance, but played online for seven days, you will receive slightly less money back. If you want to return the money for your subscription after 14 days, then there will be no refund.

Also remember that Sony does not provide refunds for PlayStation Network name changes and PlayStation Vue subscriptions.
