Revenge for the loss of warranty: the Russians sued Bosch

"Izvestia" learned that the statements of claim were filed againsttwo legal entities representing Bosch in Russia. These are Robert Bosch LLC, which imports garden equipment, electrified and automotive components, and BSH Home Appliances LLC, which is responsible for the import and production of household appliances: irons, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, coffee makers, blenders, ovens, electric stoves, refrigerators and freezers.

The plaintiffs allege that Bosch violates legalrights of Russian consumers. “In the last three years alone, Bosch has sold products worth 250 billion rubles on the Russian market. And this amount included the warranty and post-warranty support paid by Russian citizens, which they are now deprived of, ”the initiator of the lawsuit said.

The Association of Trading Companies andmanufacturers of household electrical and computer equipment RATEK, in turn, noted that Bosch, which is a member of the association, has no problems with warranty service.
