Russian schoolchild fined for attacks on the websites of the Ministry of Education

Employees of the Novosibirsk FSB Directorate identified who was behind several attacks on the websites of the Ministry of Education. Them

turned out to be a graduate student.

It is reported that the student from April to August 2020carried out five computer attacks on the resources of the "Electronic supplementary education" and the "Regional navigation and information system" of the government of the Novosibirsk region. As journalists write, the graduate gained access to the information stored on the servers. In particular, the young hacker used password guessing programs. Because of this, the resources were unavailable for users for some time.

Already former at the time of publication of the newsthe student was convicted under article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - "Creation, use and distribution of malicious computer programs." He will have to pay a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
