Samsung is back as the smartphone market leader with 259 million units sold in 2022

Samsung once again sold the most smartphones during the year. According to Omdia, the South Korean

In comparison, year-on-year deliveries fell by more than a quarter (25.6% / 37 million units). In just 12 months, manufacturers shipped 1.207 billion smartphones. Compared to 2021, sales fell by 9.9% or 133 million units in physical terms.
