Samsung Galaxy A2 Core: Redundant Go rival with an eight-core processor for $ 76

Samsung has introduced its third smartphone in India under the Android Go program - Galaxy A2 Core. Only the first ones

two models were from the Galaxy J series, and now, after its closure, a new smartphone has joined the Galaxy A family.

What can boast

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core received a 5-inch displaywith a resolution of 960x540 pixels in an unfashionable plastic case with thick frames. But this is an ultra-budget smartphone, so you can’t expect an “infinity” display and drop-shaped cutouts from it. There is no fingerprint scanner either.

Inside is an eight-core Exynos 7870 processor with GPUMali-T830, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, the volume of which can be increased using a microSD memory card up to 256 GB. Battery capacity is 2600 mAh.

Main camera: 5 MP (F/1.9), front camera:also 5-megapixel (F/2.2). Also included is an LTE modem, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.2+LE adapters, a GPS receiver and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The new product runs Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition) with pre-installed Maps Go, Gmail Go, YouTube Go applications.

The device dimensions are 141.6×71×9.1 mm, weight 142 grams.

How much is

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core costs only $76, and is a direct competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Go. It has almost the same price tag, but has a quad-core processor, a better camera and a more capacious battery.
