See the "ring of fire" eclipse from a NASA satellite

The American space agency published a video taken by the Hinode Observatory during a private

solar eclipse on October 25. The satellite showed how our star "transforms" into an epic ring of fire.

The Hinode satellite is an observatory designed to study solar activity. It was developed and operated jointly by NASA, the Japanese and European space agencies.

A satellite revolving around the earth made three differentCCTV eclipse for about three hours. Processed x-ray data from the observatory depicts the moon as a completely black circle, with a bright red sun shining in the background.

On Earth, the last eclipse was a partial eclipse, that isFrom not one point on our planet it was not visible how the Moon completely covered the Sun. Depending on the place from which the observation was carried out, one could see how the satellite covers from 15% in Europe to 83% of the stars in the Urals and Western Siberia.

Due to the position of Hinode in orbit, the artificialThe satellite was able to record not only a partial, but also a total annular eclipse. On Earth, such an event can be observed on October 13, 2023 in the western United States, in parts of Central America, Colombia and Brazil.

Previously, Hi-Tech showed how residents of different countries saw a partial solar eclipse.
