Stable jailbreak extra_recipe + yaluX is now available for iOS 10.1.1 on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

The xerub developer recently released an updated version of Jan Bera’s mach_portal exploit called extra_recipe. It

should solve the stability problems that concern iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users with iOS 10.1.1.

The creator of Yalu Luca Todesco, in turn, combined the updated extra_recipe code with his jailbreak, creating the extra_recipe + yalu .ipa file, which replaces yalu + mach_portal, its previous development.

If you are using iOS 10.1.1 on your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and thought about updating due to numerous bugs, now you probably should not do this. The new version of the jailbreak should work no worse than Yalu102.

Extra_recipe project made possible byporting the original mach_portal + yaluX code, although it is not known what other xerub vulnerabilities had to be used to stabilize the work of Jan Behr; they may have come from the iOS 10.3.2 changelog. But we can see that in the update the problems with backboardd and the general lack of stability, which were inherent in mach_portal, were fixed. The main exploit, however, remained unchanged, so the installation might still not work the first time; however, in subsequent use, hacked smartphones should become much more stable, making corrections like Order 65, Order 66, Substrate Fix and others useless.

Although Todesco has already released a ready IPAextra_recipe and posted on the official site of Yalu, using it is not yet recommended. Development is in the early stages of beta testing and cannot install Cydia, run Substrate, or remount the root file system. But after a few beta versions, you should definitely try replacing mach_portal with the new extra_recipe + yaluX.

If you want to take a look at extra_recipe code, it is available on xerub's GitHub page.

It seems that patient iPhone 7 and 7 usersPlus, who had been waiting for the revised version of mach_portal for so long and who had withstood the need for patches for Substrate and backboardd, were finally rewarded. After the later beta version of the new tool, it will be possible to recommend the transition to it.
