During the final day of The International 2022 Dota 2 World Championship, Valve announced a new hero.

characters will be replenished by the Lady of the Deadnamed after Muerta. She will be introduced into the game at the beginning of 2023, probably at the same time the traditional major update for Dota 2 will be released. In the meantime, the developer has presented only a short teaser of the hero, from which one can say for sure that Muerta will be armed with pistols. Her image echoes the national Mexican images and beliefs: Muerta = Death, and in the teaser the heroine promises to "break the veil between the living and the damned."
