A Chinese insider has published detailed specifications of the new flagship smartphone Sony Xperia 1 III.

So, the device must be equipped with 6.5-inch OLED display. Like the current generation, the new product will have a panel without holes or cutouts. In addition, the screen will have 4K resolution, HDR support, a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and an image refresh rate of 120 Hz. Naturally, the device will operate under the control of the 5-nanometer Snapdragon 888 platform paired with 12/16 GB of RAM and storage up to 512 GB.
The main camera in the smartphone will remain triple, butwill receive other modules: a 64 MP main sensor, a 12 MP wide-angle lens and a 12 MP periscope with support for 60x zoom. The new product is also credited with a 5000 mAh battery with support for 65-watt fast charging.
Price and when to wait
Sony Xperia 1 III should be presented at a presentation on April 14. The smartphone will cost more than $1,000.
