The Minister of Defense of Ukraine is confident in receiving even more HIMARS, but with missiles with a range of 300 km

What is known

Earlier we wrote that Ukraine was negotiatingsupply of long-range missiles for HIMARS. On July 15, a large text interview with Oleksiy Reznikov appeared on the Financial Times website, in which the Minister of Defense of Ukraine expressed confidence in receiving shells with a range of 300 km.

According to Reznikov, the United States fearedto supply Ukraine with long-range missiles, as this could lead to an escalation of the war. However, after the Armed Forces have demonstrated the effectiveness of working with American MLRS by destroying a large number of ammunition depots behind the front lines, partners will be ready to transfer more HIMARS, as well as missiles with a range of 300 km.
