Tele2 reported that in July the sale of Realmeincreased by 242%, Tecno by 130% compared to the same period in 2021. Xiaomi remains the market leader with a 48% share. It has grown since last year - it was 42%.
According to "M.Video-Eldorado”, in general, smartphones of Chinese brands in July occupied about 70% of unit sales. Last year, the figure is about 53%. In pieces in July, the Russians bought about 1.75 million Chinese smartphones. The range of devices has also expanded due to the brands POCO and Infinix.
The editor-in-chief of Ferra.ru Evgeny Kharitonov noted that Realme today is the strongest brand discounter on the Russian market. According to him, the increase in the share of Chinese smartphones is a global trend.
The only exception is the US market, where the share of American manufacturers Apple and Google (Pixel) is abnormally high, Chinese manufacturers are reluctant to enter the market. But third place is held by Motorola, whose mobile division belongs to China's Lenovo.

Kharitonov also added that in the Russian market,as in other countries, every year there are more and more Chinese brands, so the competition is intensifying. But the iPhone, as he claims, is losing popularity in the Russian Federation due to the restrictions introduced. Samsung's new models also do not seem interesting.
