The fifth generation Su-57 fighter looks like a siren. This “howling sound” is not typical for other new generation aircraft.

Writes about this "Military Review".The former pilot said that the Su-57 are now using AL-41F1 bypass turbojet engines from NPO Saturn. The journalist drew attention to the video of a group flight of Russian fighters, which was filmed several months ago. The author claims that in the video one can hear “a very peculiar sound of the Su-57 engines”.

The journalist noted that the AL-41F1 engines will replaceon engines of the second stage. Therefore, such a sound on the Su-57 will most likely not be able to hear more. The siren-like sound will be pleasant to hear for many aviation enthusiasts, Cenchetti says.

The experts also noted that the design of the air intakes is partly responsible for the sound.
