As many of you know, the era of yalu+mach_portal for iOS 10.1(.1) is over. Until now, users of this
The extra_recipe project was created by the developerxerub to solve all stability issues with launchd and backboardd. Although its code is available on GitHub, it needs compilation. Luca Todesco came to the rescue, who made the finished IPA and posted it on the official Yalu website so that users can easily get a new tool and use it as a payload for Cydia Impactor. First beta released a few daysago, I couldn’t install Cydia, run Substrate or remount the file system in read-write mode, in essence representing a simple assembly of xerub code. Todesco seems to be expanding its jailbreak capabilities with each new version, combining its own Yalu development with the updated xerub exploit. This should mean that over time we will get a truly full-featured jailbreak.
This process has already begun, and the third betanow supports Cydia Substrate and remounts the file system. It remains unclear whether to expect the integration of the tfp0 patch in the future. It seems that extra_recipe already contains it, but by default it is turned off and is not applied at the last stage of the jailbreak. If this is done, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users will have the opportunity to use futurerestore with .shsh2 files to switch to unsigned firmware versions after jailbreaks for them appear.

If you still doubt whether it is worthto leave with mach_portal, we recommend to wait a bit. Although the addition of Substrate can be considered one of the main milestones giving the jailbreak a finished look for the average user, certain improvements may still appear. In our opinion, if you doubt your ability to solve problems, Beta 4 will be a great breakdown. On the other hand, there is also no flurry of reports on problems with Beta 3.
With extra_recipe + yaluX all previous stabletweaks for mach_portal, such as, for example, Order 66, Order 65, CydiaRespringFix, Cake and others, are redundant and can be removed. We recommend using Extender: Reloaded to automatically re-sign the jailbreak certificate as soon as you can download and evaluate it.
