
Production of Apple iPhone XR smartphones at one of Foxconn's factories has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Since October 2019, Foxconn, the largestequipment manufacturer Apple began assembling the iPhone XR at a plant in Chennai (India). However, now all enterprises in the city are closed, and law enforcement officers are monitoring the implementation of quarantine measures.
Therefore, sources say that Foxconn has suspended production of the iPhone XR, for how long is unknown.
By the way, the company planned to assemble the iPhone 11 at this factory. Previously, Apple thought about moving the production of “budget” models to China, but now this is unlikely to be a good idea.
