UK will develop security requirements for Internet of Things devices

According to the new rules, which are still under development, all Internet of Things devices can

receive special security tokens. If a product does not have such a label, retailers will not have the right to sell the device.

In addition, manufacturers will have to set a unique password on each device - this will prevent them from being hacked and used for hacker attacks.

The date of entry into force of the new rules is still unknown, the newspaper notes.

Earlier it was reported that the operator "MegaFon"I developed the concept of a platform on which the industrial Internet of things will work for regulatory authorities. The cost of the project in the case of its implementation is estimated at 420 million rubles.
