vivo S17 and vivo S17t: smartphones with 120Hz OLED screens and Snapdragon 778G+/Dimensity 8050 chips

Vivo, as promised, held an event in China today, where it introduced the vivo S17 and vivo smartphones.

What is known

New items received identical characteristics.Except for processors. The vivo S17 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, while the vivo S17t is powered by the Dimensity 8050 SoC. As for other specs, the devices feature 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with curved edges, 120Hz frequency and FHD+ resolution.

New items come with RAMLPDDR4x, UFS 2.2/UFS 3.1 storage, and 50MP (Samsung GN5) + 8MP (Sony IMX355) dual main camera. The front camera in smartphones is 50 megapixels. The devices are powered by a 4505 mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging. The gadgets also have 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB-C ports.

Price and when to wait

Sales of vivo S17 will start on June 6th.

As for the vivo S17t, there are no prices and dates for the start of sales of the novelty yet.
