Wargaming celebrates 11 years of World of Tanks: the company has released update 1.14 with useful innovations and gifts for players

Wargaming, in honor of the 11th anniversary of the World of Tanks game, has released a holiday update with useful innovations and

gifts for players.

What's new

The new version of the game was released under number 1.14.The first innovation is a branch of heavy Czechoslovak tanks. It starts from the Tier VI medium tank Škoda T 25 and leads to vehicles with a unique feature. Each of these tanks offers the player a choice between two top guns with the same characteristics, one of which is equipped with a drum for two shells.

The topic of tuning and choosing your own tactics in 1.14 supports Field Upgrade, which provides additional options for fine-tuning all Tier VI-X vehicles and collectible tanks (excluding rental vehicles).

There is also a new map “Old Harbor” in the game, which is available in random battle mode. When creating it, the developers were inspired by Japan in the 1960s. The work on the location's soundtrack was carried out by the World of Tanks sound team together with the famous composer Akira Yamaoka, known for the Silent Hill series.

Update 1.14 also optimized the characteristics of some premium vehicles and personal combat missions for artillery. Simultaneously with its release, the first season of the Frontline mode this year began.
