Without an open world, but with multiplayer: the head of CD Projekt spoke about one of the new games in the The Witcher universe under the working title Sirius

The head of CD Projekt Adam Kicinski and the company's vice president of business development Michal Nowakowski

Nowakowski) shared some details about one of the three games based on The Witcher universe, which are currently in development.

This is a spin-off under the working title Sirius. It is being developed by The Molasses Flood, an American studio that CD Projekt acquired last year.

According to Nowakowski, Sirius is “nota small game and definitely not a mobile game.” It is described as a project for fans of The Witcher who do not want to go through complex role-playing games, which were the previous parts of the series. Sirius is a non-open world project with a focus on multiplayer elements, although the game will still have a single-player story campaign.

Sirius is developed on the Unreal Engine (most likely the fifth version), and procedural generation is used in the creation of the game.

Even an approximate release date for Sirius has not yet been announced.
