Xiaomi 12T: simpler flagship with 108MP camera and MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra processor for €600

At today's presentation, in addition to Xiaomi 12T Pro with a 200-megapixel camera, Xiaomi introduced

on the international market, the flagship is simpler - Xiaomi 12T.

What showed

Basic model externally and in many wayssimilar to Xiaomi 12T Pro, but already deprived of that wow effect due to the 200 MP camera. And all because there is a 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 sensor, but with pixels of the same size of 0.64 microns. Although it has 9-in-1 maximum binning for an effective pixel size of 1.92 µm. This sensor also has OIS and an f/1.7 aperture, although it lacks 8K video or more advanced features like eye-tracking autofocus. The 108MP sensor is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. The 20-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a neat notch in the screen.

Another change was the processor:Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 is replaced by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra based on TSMC's 5nm manufacturing process. In addition, you still get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, but without the "magic" of Harman Kardon, like the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

Other characteristics are identical to the Pro version:6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels, adaptive frequency up to 120 Hz, HDR10 + and under-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM cards, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC (depending on the country). The 5000 mAh battery provides up to 13.5 hours of battery life with an always-on screen and supports 120W HyperCharge fast charging technology. It only takes 19 minutes to fully charge the battery.
