The search for screenwriters and actors has ended, so New Line Cinema began filming the movie on Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Combat Script Writer GregRusso updated his Twitter feed by posting a movie clapperboard picture from the set. The main part of the film will be shot in South Australia, and the producer’s chair is James Van, who directed Aquaman. According to the screenwriter Greg Russo, the film on Mortal Kombat will be close in spirit to Deadpool with its jokes and action.

In addition, according to Businesswire, shootingstarted in an expanded cast. The film was joined by Max Huang, who will play Kung Lao. Prior to this, the guy was noted as a stunt performer in “Kingsman: Secret Service”, “Hitman: Agent 47” and even “Armor of God 3: Mission Zodiac”.
