Helyx drone accelerates faster than Tesla Roadster

A little-known company Sigma Ingegneria has unveiled a drone weighing 87.5 grams, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 1.2

seconds and a top speed of 208 kilometers per hour.

The new drone looks extremely unusual: the frame is printed on a 3D printer and is something like a skeleton, three-bladed propellers and also built according to a special scheme. The authors claim that the entire drone was created with an eye on the technology of Formula 1.

The drone has everything necessary for such a devicecomponents: structural supports, chassis, bumpers and even a load balancer, built directly into the frame. According to some assumptions, the entire frame was made on a carbon fiber HP Jet Fusion printer.
