Honor 9X will be released in Europe with a triple camera, an old processor and no Google services

The Huawei sub-brand showed the Honor 9X smartphone back in July, and is now preparing to release the device internationally

market. But, as it turned out, outside the Celestial Empire it will be a slightly different smartphone with different characteristics.

What have changed

Previously, we wrote about the fact that Honor 9X is in Europewill receive a fingerprint scanner located not on the side, but on the back panel. And now insider Sudhanshu Ambhore reports that there will be differences internally as well.

First of all, it is a different platform. If the Chinese Honor 9X has a Kirin 810 processor, then its brother will have the old Kirin 710F.

But in the main camera the changes are positive:it will not be double, but triple. The global version of Honor 9X will have 48 MP (f/1.8), 8 MP and 2 MP sensors. The front camera is still a 16 MP pop-up camera.

The rest of the characteristics are the same as the Chinese model: 6.59-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution, 4000 mAh battery, NFC.

Another bad news for potentialbuyers will be the lack of pre-installed Google services. The fact is that the smartphone was released in the midst of the conflict between the United States and China and did not manage to receive Google certification.

Price

According to an insider, Honor 9X with 4/128 GB of memory was priced at €220-€240. It is still unknown when exactly the smartphone will debut on the international market.
