At the last State of Play broadcast, Sony showed a new trailer for The Last of Us 2, revealing the release date.

The video managed to create intrigue at the same timeand reveal the main secret. Yes, Joel is alive, and Ellie has gone on a journey to take revenge, but it’s not clear for whom. Still, the video shows that the girl is very angry and deals with her opponents cruelly and in cold blood. Judging by plot snippets, players will have to fight bandits and a new type of zombie. The locations will be replaced by forests and “urban jungles.”
At the end of the trailer, Sony announced that The Last of Us 2 will release on February 21, 2020.
