After the unsuccessful Siberia 3, fans thought that the series was over, but Benoit Sokal has no plans to stop.
Announcement of Syberia: The World Before
Despite the name, Syberia:The World Before will continue the story of Kate Walker. Benoit Sokal, together with the Microids team, plans to take gamers on a new adventure, where puzzles, automata and unusual characters await players.
"Episode Syberia:The World Before will once again take us on an adventure with Kate Walker, who is engaged in a new investigation. This journey will take us across continents and time periods, allowing us to feel the turmoil and tragedy of the twentieth century,” the description says.
The developers did not disclose details about the gameprocess, but most likely another quest awaits gamers. The release date of Syberia: The World Before is also unknown, but the developers said that they have been working on the project for 18 months. Additional information will appear “soon”. Gamescom 2019 viewers may be in for a surprise.
