The device's panel has 33 million pixels, which is 16 times more than a 1080p TV and four times more than a 4K TV.

In addition to HDMI 2.1, which will allow users to watch videos and movies in 8K at 60 frames per second, the LG TV supports Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. In some markets, the devices will be sold with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa built-in.

The TV has already gone on sale in Australia, Germany, France, the UK and the USA for $42,000. When it will reach us is still unknown.
