Oppo introduced smartphones Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F with quad-cameras

Today Oppo held a presentation at which it presented three new smartphones: Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F.

Oppo reno 2

The smartphone received a 6.55-inch DynamicAMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400×1080 pixels) and 20:9 aspect ratio, without cutouts or holes. The 16-megapixel front camera is hidden in a retractable Shark Fin module. Under-screen fingerprint scanner.

The main camera is here with four modules:48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7), 8 MP wide-angle camera (116 degrees), 13 MP (f/2.4) and 2 MP depth sensor (f/1.75). The camera has a 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, and can also shoot video with combined image stabilization (OIS + EIS) in 1080p@60fps mode and bokeh when recording video on the front camera. There is an advanced night mode.

Inside there is a Snapdragon 730G processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, as well as a capacious 4000 mAh battery with support for proprietary VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

Oppo Reno 2 costs about $515. In India, sales will start on September 20, when in other countries is still unknown.

Oppo Reno 2Z and Oppo Reno 2F

These models have a lot in common:6.53-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, a regular retractable front camera (16 MP), an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC and a 4000 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

The main cameras also have four modules: 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor (f/1.7), 8 MP wide-angle camera (119 degrees, f/2.2), 2 MP depth sensor and 2 MP Mono Lens. There is 10x digital zoom.

Oppo Reno 2Z received a MediaTek Helio P90 processor and 8/256 GB of memory. It will go on sale on September 6th with a price tag of $415.

Oppo Reno 2F has a MediaTek Helio P70 chip and 8/128 GB of memory. Sales will start in November, but how much the smartphone will cost is still unknown.
