Space Rider is a space laboratory that can operate in low Earth orbit
It is planned that without repair Space Rider will be able tomake up to five space missions. The device itself consists, in addition to the power to adjust the output into orbit, a 600 watt power supply and scientific equipment for data analysis, telemetry and temperature control.
The launch of Space Rider in 2022 will happen withusing the Vega-C launch vehicle from the Kourou space center in French Guiana. Now scientists are engaged in analyzing the behavior of the developed systems, the final design tests will be held next year.
