During the announcement of Redmi 8A, the head of the Indiandivision of Manu Kumar Jain briefly showed the regular Redmi 8. He did not announce its presentation date, but the event will most likely be held in India early next month.

The appearance of the smartphone is similar to what we sawalready in leaks. The device will have a plastic body with red or black colors, a dual main camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back side. Redmi 8 is also credited with a processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, a 5000 mAh battery, a 6.21-inch display with HD+ resolution and a 12 MP + 2 MP camera. The new product will cost approximately $140.
