On Amazon, unscrupulous sellers offer a device that supposedly takes care of users’ health,
What it is
This is a “router shield” like a Faraday cage, which is supposed to protect against 5G and Wi-Fi radiation. Moreover, they bring good profits, since they are not cheap - from $70 to $190.
Sellers claim that the products are “original” and urge people not to buy cheap “counterfeits.”
So apparently putting Faraday cages around routers has become a thing for the 5g conspiracy nuts and there are companies out there ready to cash in.

And although they assure that the cells “should in no way affect the signal range and Internet speed,” in fact, the opposite is true. Metal boxes block almost all signal from the router.
Many users started complainingfor signal deterioration. But there are also those for whom the “protection” did not help: the Internet still works fine. Apparently, under the guise of a shield, such users were sold an ordinary mesh storage box.
The appearance of such “amulets” and advertisementslinked to numerous conspiracy theories about the harms of 5G. At one time, even the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic was associated with the deployment of fifth generation networks.
