Square Enix has unveiled an add-on for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, as well as an enhanced version of the game for PlayStation 5.
What is known
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade - Expandsthe basic story of the remake with a separate storyline of Yuffie Kisaragi. In the original FF7, players could take her to their team if they met a number of conditions, although she did not affect the plot. In the remake, a separate chapter was dedicated to her, in which the girl infiltrates the Shinra Corporation to steal a valuable resource and restore the greatness of her homeland.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on June 102021 exclusively for PlayStation 5 along with an improved version of the game for the next generation console. Users who have already purchased Final Fantasy 7 Remake for PS4 will receive the update for free, but will have to pay extra for the Yuffie episode.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake on PlayStation 5 alsowill receive improved graphics and two performance modes: 60 FPS at 1440p, and also 1440p at 30 FPS, but with ray tracing. Both modes are upscaled to 4K output.
