Activists sued the US Federal Aviation Administration over permission to launch Starship

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is facing a lawsuit from environmental activists and Native American groups.

The regulator allowed SpaceX to make up totwo dozen launches annually from Starbase for the next five years. Plaintiffs allege that the FAA violated the US National Environmental Policy Act by failing to consider launching rockets from the Florida Space Center as an alternative.
