Focus on smartphones: OnePlus is not going to release laptops

Many of the largest smartphone manufacturers also have other products in their product range, including laptops

and tablets. But OnePlus is still fighting off this company. It boasts only one released OnePlus Pad tablet, while there are no laptops on the manufacturer’s account. And it definitely won’t be in the near future.

What is known

Kinder Liu, President and Chief Executive OfficerChief Operating Officer of OnePlus, recently gave an interview in which he shared some of the company's plans. According to him, OnePlus is not yet interested in releasing laptops.

“Our vision of technology makes smartphones and tablets the main devices for work and entertainment, which means that PCs and laptops are not what we are currently studying”

Perhaps someday the company will start working on laptops, but so far they are not in development and are not expected.

In addition, journalists asked Kinder Liu about plans to release budget tablets. Unfortunately, it’s also not worth waiting for yet - at least in the near future.

But this year OnePlus should present its first folding smartphone - OnePlus V Fold. Its presentation is expected in the third quarter, but there is no exact date yet.
