As before, buyers of electric vehicles inDuring 2022, there were predominantly men (77.1%) than women (22.9%), with the share of men increasing over the year by almost 5 percentage points. Ukrainians aged 28-37 years (45% of buyers) and 38-47 years (29%) are actively buying electric vehicles. Young people under 27 years old make up 16% of buyers, and the category 48-57 years old – 7%. Ukrainians over 58 years old – are least likely to make such purchases. only 2% of buyers.
67% of all electric vehicle sales occur offline – in ALLO and ALLO MAX stores, 33% of customers order online – on allo.ua or in the mobile application.
At the end of 2022, 27% of buyerselectric transport lived in Kyiv and the region, which is by 4 p.p. less than in pre-war 2021, 14% – in Dnipro and the region (13% in 2021). The share of electric vehicle buyers in Lviv and the region increased by almost a third – from 8.5% to 11%. In 2022, Poltava, Khmelnytsky and Odessa residents each accounted for 4% of electric vehicle sales. In 2021, 7.2% of buyers lived in Kharkiv region and 5% – in the Odessa regions, but last year these regions left the TOP.

HELLO: the share of Lviv residents among buyers of electric vehicles increased by a third
Ukrainians are increasingly paying attention toalternative modes of transport to protect themselves from the lack of fuel at gas stations, mobility and savings and buy various models of electric transport for convenient city trips. Last year, the demand for electric vehicles increased 5 times compared to January 2022 in May, immediately after the start of the fuel crisis, and even slightly exceeded the 2021 figure. Electric scooters and electric bicycles became the leaders in the category of ecological electric transport, and the number of buyers last year grew the most in the Lviv region. 2023 will be no exception: demand for electric vehicles is expected to grow even more.
