Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates told reporters when he thinks the pandemic will end
The entrepreneur spoke with journalists atAmerican TV channel Fox News. Gates believes the pandemic will end in 2022 at best. He bases his forecasts on the assumption that the use of vaccines will be certified at the beginning of 2021. In this case, by mid-2021 the situation will begin to improve. Everything will return to normal in 2022.
Gates noted that such a scenario is possible only if next year it will be possible to "bring down the spread of infection" around the world.
The entrepreneur also said that during the pandemic, the level of vaccination against various diseases decreased by 14% worldwide. This, according to Gates, wiped out the gains of the previous 20 years.
