More than 70% of Russians are not ready to get vaccinated against coronavirus

In an all-Russian online survey conducted by the central public reception of the chairman of UR 16–23

September, about 20 thousand people participated. Its results will be passed on to the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko.

73% of Russians are not ready to get vaccinated against coronavirus, 23% of respondents are ready to get vaccinated. 4% of respondents said that they had already had coronavirus and they did not need it. 

The vast majority of respondents (93%) believe that vaccination against coronavirus should be carried out on a voluntary basis. And 7% are sure that vaccinations should be made mandatory for everyone.

Russian vaccine would be preferred by 24%, foreign - 13%. Another 63% said that it is not important for them whose production the vaccine is, the main thing is that it is effective.

On August 11, President Vladimir Putin announced the registration of the first coronavirus vaccine in Russia and the world.
