Horizon Forbidden West was presented as a PlayStation 5 exclusive with improvements for the new generation of consoles. Still Sony
Still worthy
On the PlayStation blog, the company announced thatHorizon Forbidden West, along with Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy A Big Adventure, will be released on PlayStation 4. You won't be able to take advantage of a fast SSD, but you won't have to buy a PS5 for these games.
In addition, gamers who will buy Horizon ForbiddenWest, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy A Big Adventure on PS4 will be able to get next-gen versions for free. You just have to take into account that digital and physical copies can only be improved to the same level on a new generation console. It is not possible to switch from disk to digital, and vice versa.
“We know the PS4 community will be migrating to PS5 invarious times, and we're excited to announce PS4 versions of some of our exclusives. "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy A Big Adventure and Horizon Forbidden West will also be released on PS4," the blog states.
