The Ukrainian Air Force over the Black Sea shot down a Russian Su-35 fighter with an export value of $100 million

Information about the destruction of the Russian aircraftappeared on social networks. Very quickly, it was confirmed by Dmitry Pletenchuk, head of the press service of the Kherson Defense Forces. He called the downing of the fighter "an incredible sight", but after a few minutes he deleted the publication. Therefore, official confirmation had to wait until the morning. The Air Force statement also noted the destruction of four Kh-101/555 cruise missiles and 20 Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones.

The Su-35 is a 4++ generation fighter.It can reach speeds up to 2500 km/h (M=2.3) and fly 3600 km without additional fuel tanks. The cost of the aircraft for the Russian army is unknown. Judging by previously concluded contracts, the export price of the fighter reaches $100 million.
