Three hackers were accused of hacking Twitter. The youngest of them is 17 years old

The FBI, IRS and Florida law enforcement have arrested 17-year-old Graham Clark of Tampa.

He is accused of being the ringleaderthe largest hack of the social network Twitter in history. During this attack, they hacked the accounts of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Kanye West, Apple and many other profiles.

Clark has already been charged 30 countshe will be tried as an adult. The investigation considers Clark's accomplices to be 22-year-old Nima Faselli, who lives in Florida, and 19-year-old Mason Sheppard from the UK.

According to preliminary data, it was Clarkgained access to Twitter's internal tools, and then committed a scam that led to the attack. In particular, he allegedly convinced a Twitter employee that he worked in the company's IT department, and tricked the employee into giving him credentials.

On behalf of verified profiles, hackers published tweets about the distribution of several thousand bitcoins to those who send the cryptocurrency to the wallets specified in the tweets.
