TASS writes that the Commissioner for Children's Rights in St. Petersburg previously contacted law enforcement agencies and the VKontakte administration because of this community.
As stated by representatives of the social network, they speakstrongly against the activities of such groups. “Our team is blocking communities and personal pages related to child trafficking,” the company's press service said.
According to TASS, the group publishedmessages from pregnant women with an offer to sell a child after birth, as well as user requests for the purchase of children and their informal adoption.
VKontakte reminded that users can report illegal content to the administration using the Complain button.
