Mortal Kombat developers from NetherRealm studio continue to tease a new part of the most popular fighting game series.

What

Known

The studio published a short video entitled“It Is Almost Time,” which depicts a clock counting down time. The hand moves across the dial and when it approaches 12 – time slows down and instantly jumps forward.

Probably the theme of the video indicates moving totime that has already happened in the Mortal Kombat series, or maybe this is how the number of the next part – “12”, and perhaps the developers are hinting at the rapidly approaching time of release (or presentation).

We will remind, earlier Jez Corden (Jez Corden)mentioned that the game will be fully presented at the PlayStation Showcase, which will take place in late May or early June, while the show has not yet been officially announced.

When to expect

The release date of Mortal Kombat 12 is unknown, but back in February, the head of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav mentioned that the fighting game will be released before the end of 2023.
