Bug fixes
– Fixed an issue that resulted in users being kicked out of their Apple ID.
- Fixed installation of MobileSubstrate.
- Added detection of downloaded updates "over the air", which could cause problems.
The cause of the following problems was incorrect entry into DFU mode:
- The problem with the idle taptic engine.
- Problem with biometric authentication.
- Problems with the touchscreen.
- Problems with battery settings: some tweaks affect it.
Other changes
- Now entering a device into DFU mode will be easier and safer.
- The substrate loading mechanism has become better, which improved the stability of the tool as a whole.
- If you get a -20 error, reinstall the jailbreak with the active "no-substrate" mode in the application. Also try removing tweaks.
Checkra1n v0.9 update.5 will fix many significant bugs, including the error "error 20", problems with biometric authentication, battery settings, etc. Despite this, this is still a public beta version, and you need to treat it the same way.
We recommend waiting for the final release.tool, and only then use it. If you have already installed it, be sure to download the update from the official website. In no case do not download the tool from other sites.
