Yesterday Apple released the third beta of OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan to developers. It turned out that the beta contains
Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 aredescendants of the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad, respectively, while the Magic Keyboard is likely to be the new version of the existing wireless keyboard currently sold by Apple.

It is not entirely clear what the functionality of the newkeyboards and pointing devices, but from the FCC report we can see that the Magic Mouse 2 will connect via Bluetooth 4.2 and come with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
It is possible that Force Touch support, already present in 2015 MacBook models, will be implemented in these accessories.
Apple is likely to divulge device information along with the announcement of a 21.5-inch iMac next week.
