A superior infantry fighting vehicle will appear in Russia

A new infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) is being created in Russia, which will surpass existing analogues. BMP project

called "Manul".

The development of the new machine is carried out by a Specialmechanical engineering design bureau. BMP "Manul" should receive an uninhabited combat module with a modernized sighting system. This module will be equipped with an automatic 30-millimeter gun and anti-tank missile launchers "Kornet-E".

On "Manula" the crew will be additionally protected by frontal shelling. The car will receive an engine with a capacity of up to 660 horsepower.

The new BMP should surpass the BMP-3 in terms of technical characteristics. "Manul" was called a transitional stage between the BMP-3 and the armored vehicles of the future.

Now the ground forces of Russia are showing interest in the new product. Experts are waiting for the terms of reference from the military department to move on to the next stage of work on "Manul".
