In iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 it will be possible to choose the default browser and email client

On the Apple website, in the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 sections, one very useful innovation is mentioned, but nothing was said about it

at yesterday's WWDC presentation.

What are we talking about

We are talking about the ability to use the defaultThere are third party applications in the system. This only applies to the browser and email client for now. Of course, now in iOS 13 you can use Chrome and Gmail as your main programs, but all links still open in Safari and Mail.

Let us remind you that iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 can already be installed by developers. Public Beta builds will appear in July, and stable releases of systems are planned for the fall.
